WOOT! It’s summertime for our Northern Hemisphere monkeys so we decided it was time for a HUGE Summer Eco-contest!
This contest requires you to become a MiniMonos EcoMonkey! You can read more about EcoMonkeys by clicking here.

We’ll be checking out your eco-projects and judging them on 5 categories!

Monkey Fact Monday: Manx’s favorite mini monkey!
Each week for the next few I will be sharing with you MiniMonos Staff members’ favorite type of Monkeys!
This week I asked Manx what monkey species was her favorite:
“I think Goeldi Marmosets really neat because they’re so small and cute!
And also that not much is known about them since their species is so spread out. That’s why I think we need to really conserve our rainforests — there are so many species we haven’t discovered yet, and more that we don’t know a lot about. It would be shame if we lost them.”
Sweet Manx! They sure would be missed if we lost them!
Goeldi Marmosets are most commonly found in the Amazon River Basin. Goeldi Marmosets adult monkeys only weight about 3 ounces — That’s tiny!

This week we’re on the hunt for the next funniest monkey on MiniMonos island. This week we’re not looking for jokes… we decided we wanted to do something different to help us find the funniest monkey.
So, this week we’re looking for the trickiest, funniest, tounge twisters you know!

MiniMonos Mogger Highlight: Do you know all the ways to get Shells?
Hey Monkeys,
I have been looking through the MiniMonos blogs this morning and noticed something really cool on MiniMonos Blast. MiniMonos Blast is ran by Sonic4572, Mattybon, MonkeyRock, Ghoni, and Angie346392.
On their site they have a super cool page all about shells that is really informative for new monkeys who would like to learn how to earn shells.
I haven’t seen many sites create a guide about shells this way with so much detail so I thought it was something that had to be featured! A big monkey high-five goes out to the moggers onMiniMonos Blast! Keep up the excellent work!

New Treehouse Of The Week!
It’s time for the newest TOTW! Check it out!
This week I was able to check out a few really awesome treehouses! The treehouse that really caught my eye was ARRRRsomely packed full of pirate stuff!
This week’s Treehouse of the Week belongs to: Monkeymite!
Monkeymite must be a dedicated pirate because his treehouse is the perfect pirate paradise! Hehe, maybe Monkeymite should host a pirate dinner! Look at how he put together six tables to make an awesome dinner table complete with cups and candles! Pretty cool!
